Two upcoming health care events are of interest to the labor-management community, one focused on addressing cost issues and the other on quality. Both are brought to Kansas City with the help of a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Aligning Forces for Quality grant and the Kansas City Quality Improvement Consortium:
*Aug. 31, Cost and Efficiency Measuring Convening, 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Kauffman Foundation.
*Sept. 15, Care About Your Care, a coordinated effort to help people identify, understand and receive high quality care, 10:30-11:45 a.m., Kauffman Foundation.
