Workers who have died in the line of duty were remembered and the vital importance of safe work practices emphasized at the Workers Memorial Day event hosted by the Builders' Association. Labor and management participated in the event, which featured regional OSHA director Chuck Adkins, Greater Kansas City AFL-CIO President and LMC Vice Co-Chair Pat "Duke" Dujakovich, Builders' Association President and LMC Treasurer Don Greenwell, recording artist Matt Snook and family members of fallen workers.
