Congrats to Brooks

In some Mid-America Labor/Management Conference news, the conference planning committee has lost a key longtime member. Winston Brooks, superintendent of the Wichita Public Schools, is leaving soon to become superintendent of the Albuquerque public schools. Winston has been on the planning committee for most of the conference's 23 years and has been a strong advocate of labor-management cooperation within the Wichita school district and education throughout the region. His expertise and enthusiasm will be missed by the conference and certainly welcomed in New Mexico.
