Bob Gillihan

We are sad to report the death of Bob Gillihan, former longtime LMC Board member and business manager of Teamsters Local 541.


Bob was a strong supporter of the LMC and of labor-management cooperation.  He rarely missed a Mid-America Labor/Management Conference.  A candid yet gracious leader, Bob held numerous positions including president of the Greater Kansas City Building & Construction Trades Council and Teamsters Joint Council 56 during his career.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 28 at McGilley, 12301 State LIne Road.  The family requests contributions to Kansas City Hospice and Pallative Care, 9221 Ward Parkway, Suite 100, Kansas City, MO 64114.
