Congratulations to supporters of the KC Zoo sales tax proposal, which won approval in Jackson and Clay counties. The LMC supported the proposal which will enhance education, recreation and job opportunities for our community.

Congrats also to LMC Board Member Judy Morgan, who was elected to the Missouri House of Representatives in a special election to fill the 39th District seat that became vacant when Jean Peters Baker was appointed Jackson County Prosecutor. We look forward to Judy's leadership in the legislature.
