The LMC has endorsed the proposed sales tax for the Kansas City Zoo on the Nov. 8 ballot in Jackson and Clay Counties.

“This is a modest investment that will pay significant dividends for jobs and education” said Bob Jacobi, LMC executive director. “The zoo’s plan would not only attract tourists but provide educational and recreational opportunities for our children. The result will be jobs created and an improved quality of life. So we urge voters to come out and vote yes on Nov. 8.”
