The LMC is saddened to learn of the death of Pat Gray, longtime political consultant. Pat, in addition to being a great friend and mentor, always valued the role of the LMC in public issues. He will be greatly missed.

The LMC congratulates past Co-Chair Mike Sanders, Jackson County Executive, and the nine Jackson County legislators sworn in last night. Returning legislators include new legislature chair Dan Tarwater, Crystal Williams, Scott Burnett, Dennis Waits and Greg Grounds, and new members Frank White, Tony Miller, Alfred Jordan and Theresa Galvin. Theresa is the wife of Bill Galvin, Mid-Level Leadership graduate and recently installed as president of Fire Fighters Local 42. And we thank the four outgoing legislators for their service, particularly Theresa Garza-Ruiz, who serves on our Construction Industry Committee.
