The LMC joins the Builders' Association, JE Dunn Construction Co. and Turner Construction Co. in hosting a Workforce Development and Diversity Summit Friday, Aug. 7 at the Builders' Training Center in North Kansas City. There will be two sessions: a 7:30-9:30 a.m. session for contractors and union leaders from the Boilermakers, Bricklayers, Carpenters, Plasterers and Cement Masons, Ironworkers, Laborers, Painters, Pipefitters, Plumbers and Sprinkler Fitters; and a 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. session for contractors and union leaders from the IBEW, Elevator Constructors, Glaziers, Heat and Frost Insulators, Operating Engineers, Roofers, Sheet Metal Workers and Teamsters.
