Congratulations to Crystal Williams and Teresa Galvin for being elected Chair and Vice Chair, respectively, of the Jackson County Legislature. Crystal becomes the first woman elected to the post.

The LMC also offers best wishes to Fred Arbanas, who will serve as interim Jackson County executive until the Legislature selects a successor to past LMC Co-Chair Mike Sanders for the remainder of 2016. A new county executive will be elected in November to fill the remainder of Mike's term.

The LMC wishes all a great start to the new year.
