The LMC extends thanks and best wishes to Jim Heeter, who retires tomorrow as President of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. Jim has been an excellent supporter of the LMC as we have continued to work with the Chamber on numerous issues, particularly public policy.

We are excited with Jim's replacement. Joe Reardon, former KCATA executive director and Unified Government Mayor, is also a past honoree of the LMC's Leadership in Labor-Management Collaboration Award. We look forward to continuing a strong relationship with Joe's leadership.
