United Labor Credit Union took first place at the 20th Cigna LMC Craig Whitaker Memorial Golf Tournament July 16 at Oakwood Country Club. Boilermakers Local 83 took second and Principal took third among foursomes. The nearest to the pin was achieved by Chuck Tarpley, Plumbers Local 8, and closest to the pin was earned by Tad Knap, Whitley Construction Co. Mike Long, Principal, won the top raffle prize, a Bushnell Range Finder.
The tournament was made possible by sponsors and volunteers. Future LMC events this year include the Public Officials Reception, Oct. 11 at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, and the Mid-Level Leadership Program with classes beginning in September. The LMC’s mission is to enhance collaboration and trust between labor and management and the community.
