We are saddened to report the death of Herb Johnson. Herb was a former executive committee member and tremendous supporter of the LMC and our mission. Herb was a longtime leader in IAM Lodge 1650, serving as safety committee chair and establishing a national reputation for his expertise and passion on workplace safety. Later he was elected secretary-treasurer of the Missouri AFL-CIO. In both roles he promoted the LMC. Herb was also a key leader for the local media-labor breakfast and the Missouri Association of Retired Americans. His knowledge, passion, sense of humor and leadership will be greatly missed.
