The LMC welcomes the President to Kansas City and his visit to LMC member Kansas City Area Transportation Authority. The infrastructure bill is a longtime LMC priority issue and we appreciate the support for the bill from Sen. Roy Blunt, Rep. Emanuel Cleaver and Rep. Sharice Davids. We congratulate former LMC board member Robbie Makinen, KCATA executive director, for his hosting of President Biden and KCMO Mayor Quinton Lucas for his role on the bill and the President's visit.
