As the Missouri legislature has concluded its 2022 regular session, the LMC thanks legislators for help on our positions particularly on economic development; funding for Medicaid, transportation, key Kansas City area projects and University Health System's planned new building; stopping radical change to unemployment compensation; avoiding discrimination; maintaining prevailing wage; no action on right-to-work"; and employer ability to protect their workers and customers. We especially thank those legislators who are term limited for their work over the past eight years, and others who aren't running again for their service.
