The LMC congratulates Kansas City Public Schools Superintendent Mark Bedell on his new position, but he will be missed. His support for labor-management cooperation in the district played a crucial role in the regaining of accreditation, as well as his leadership and many other initiatives aimed at an inclusive, quality educational process. Best wishes to Interim Superintendent Jennifer Collier and the school board.
