The LMC mourns the passing of Al Mauro. Al was a leader at LMC members City for Kansas City, University Health (then Truman Medical Centers) and Kansas City Southern, then served on the Kansas City Public Schools School Board. He was a leader in many causes and issues over the past 70 years. A celebration of life is planned for next Spring. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Friends of the Zoo, another cause he was instrumental in.
