Tomorrow is Election Day in Missouri. The LMC encourages all Missouri voters to participate. Many key school board and city races are on the ballot.

One of the big issues in Jackson County is Question 1. The Board of Directors of the Labor-Management Council of Greater Kansas City has endorsed Jackson County Question 1.

The LMC believes it is vitally important to maintain the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium and the Kansas City Royals in Jackson County and create greater economic development opportunities from the stadiums. Question 1 provides a better deal for Jackson County taxpayers than the current sales tax and team leases and establishes a robust community benefits agreement.
